Shimon and I

I'll be playing a spontaneous gig at Seattle's Bumbershoot festival tomorrow night with Shimon the Marimba Playing Robot and Chris Brokaw of Come and Codeine.

Should be suitably strange. The Seattle Stranger says "come and see this!"

this just ain't right! lol,get the violin playing robot from japan,actually you guys need a couple of roombas on stage,one is spewing out dirt while the other is picking it up and vice versa along with powerstations.. actually ,just one roomba onstage would be nice...

The performance wasn't great. The rehearsals were quite cool and had some very striking moments. But I think Shimon and I would need a bit more time together to do a true mind-meld.

Very late on finding this out. I have only I question: Shimon a diva that demanded twice over union wages to play with you?
